You know those nights when everything feels inspired, energised and special? That’s the spirit that Nissan has injected straight into the design of its latest compact crossover vehicle, the Nissan Juke. In order to bring the spirit of the Juke to life, Nissan have launched a groundbreaking musical collaboration: Behind The Hit.
La Roux (aka mastermind musical duo Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid) have joined forces with Behind The Hit to express the Nissan Juke’s rather infectous energy. The new campaign centers around a collaboration between professional musicians and user generated music. Now is your chance – via the website, banners, iPhone and iPad – to access the online tools to create a completely fresh music track.
Nissan Juke have provided a mixing deck (in the form of a mini-car park…!) and a huge selection of music stems ready for the songs to be crafted by participants! There are two levels of music production: a simple tool for the musicians in all of us and an advanced one for those who believe they have what it takes to take to create a professional track…
Judged by Elly and Ben of La Roux, first prize is to spend time in the studio with Ben, completing the track in preparation for its launch at an exclusive gig! The grand prize winner will also receive VIP tickets to the gig at KoKo in London’s Camden on April 5th 2-11. The lineup for the gig includes Naked and Famous, Pony Pony Run Run and Delphic, as well as a DJ set from La Roux. To add further excitement to the night, the entire event will be free and streamed live by Spotify.
