Progressive house duo Infiction, based between London and LA, have sculpted a reputation for themselves creating mood-setting beats for movies like Wrath of the Titans, Superman Returns and Disturbia.
But with an array of movie titles behind them, producers Doran Oppenheimer and Dan Asma are also becoming known for their range of eclectic house beats and mixes.
Their progressive house sound has been causing a stir on YouTube over the last year with remixes to tracks such as ‘Human’ by The Killers and ‘Let’s Dance’ by David Bowie spreading virally.
InFiction have previously released tracks through dance-label The Academy Of Fists whose line-up includes electronica-hero Spunkshine. Their sound has a sophisticated edge, a progressive nature that carefully edges the listener into the remix slowly and is gaining a reputation for filling dancefloor’s worldwide.
Doran and Dan are a dominant force on the LA club scene, but have also conquered clubs in Europe and South Africa. Their music is as progressive as their remixes with trance-styled trebles and driving beats.
The pair recently released a track called On The Rhodes, which bridges the gap between house and trance music with some pulsing electronica thrown in for good measure.
