Rustie – ‘After Light’ (feat. AlunaGeorge)

I couldn’t really see what could be done with Rustie’s ‘After Light’ but when this track was released last month on Warp Records it was obvious I was wrong. It seems that Aluna George, the London based duo also known as Aluna Francis and George Reid have succeeded in creating an R&B vibe to a tune of quite opposite sounds and it works surprisingly well. Aluna George bring a sense of harmony and calm to an otherwise erratic track.
