Papa Sven makes his way to the Winter Social to lay down his techno laden beats to what is sure to be a huge crowd. The cocoon legend is the marquee name on the bill and is nailed on to deliver huge set.
2) Alan Fitzpatrick:
His huge sounds are always popular with a lively festival crowd. Catching him in live in recent months has been a real treat; his anthem ‘We Do What We Want’ invokes a football-terrace atmosphere amongst the crowd often spiralling them into a frenzy.
3) Steve Lawler:
Labelled by Pete Tong as the King of Ibiza, Lawler’s modest beginnings at Cafe Mambo has grown into his own hugely successful club night ‘Viva Warriors’. Except a career spanning set with a number of classics intertwined with the best new music Lawler has his hands on.
4) Andrea Oliva:
A name that has consistently been placed near the top end of recent summer festival announcements. Olivia’s huge track ‘Scream’ spring boarded him into the wider public consciousness thanks to huge support from the R1 Dance family. Don’t let him slip under your radar; Olivia’s set will be one to watch.
5) Seth Troxler:
After his triumphant return to Fabric and a staunch defence of dance music culture on Newsnight, Troxler has further implemented his cult hero status amongst the electronic community. His set is likely to be eclectic, energetic and unique. Do not miss it.
