Introduce yourself and tell us about the part of the UK you’re from?

Hi my name’s Igloo Ghost. I’m 14 & I was born & raised in a bit of da UK that looks like the woods, a bit like my neighbour totoro. I don’t like it.

Can you tell us a bit about what you’ve been working on recently?

I have been working on a very important EP for a very super cool label that I have been in love with for several years. It’s finished now. I like it. It’s very fast & confusing.

And can you talk us through the mix?

It was fun!!!!! I always have fun with transitions. I’m not really into beat matching so I try & build little bridges between each song.

Nice, talk us through the British music featured in this mix? Which British artists are you most excited about?

This guy Boothroyd!!! He’s sick. Nobody sounds like him. It sounds like grime instrumentals being marinated in a vat of candle wax in Chernobyl.

Cool, tell us about some of your British musical Heroes and influences in general?

Aphex Twin is one of my ultimate heroes in basically every way he exists. I think I might own every song of his that’s out there.

Great and what’s on the cards in the immediate future?

Feeding brains!!!!!

And finally, where is the best place in the world you have performed and why?

My 2nd gig was in Italy that was cool & weird. I usually feel like the recent gig I just did at whatever time is better than the ones before it. I’m tryna figure out how to confuse but intrigue people as opposed to have people be like ok this is an appropriate set for this occasion. I end up playing this super loud sad fast music for drunk people when the club is at its peak of hype & its usually funny to watch people stop dancing & just sway with their drinks cos they all look like they miss their exes or mums or something!!!!
