Carl Cox, Disclosure, Pete Tong, Dusky, Jamie Jones, Erick Morillo and Faithless are just some of the names who will play events for BBC Radio 1 in Ibiza for their 20th anniversary of Ibiza broadcasts and events.
BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac has announced plans for Radio 1 Ibiza 20, taking place from 31 July to 2 August. It all kicks off at Ushuaia on Friday 31 July with an event and live broadcast that will feature Calvin Harris and Disclosure. The Saturday will see Danny Howard host Rudimental & Duke Dumont (amongst others) for a four hour event on San Antonio’s Sunset Strip.The final event of the series will be hosted by Pete Tong and will take place at Ibiza Rocks on Sunday 2nd August with a monster line-up including Faithless and Kolsch.
The events will be broadcast on Radio 1 along with several special live broadcasts from the island including ENTER at Space and some classic’s for the 20 years of Ibiza Essential Mixes. Several shows from Radio 1 will also re-locate to a secret location on the white isle for the weekend and will include some very special guests.
