DJ Mag’s One To Watch Mix | Selector After Dark

This week’s Selector After Dark mix is a little different, we invite DJ Mag to let us know who to keep an eye out for in 2017…

Adam Saville (DJ Mag):

For the first 15 minutes I’ve showcased a few new names to watch on the UK house scene right now. Mostly melodic, dusty, funk-inflected jams, opening track is by Thrilogy, a new project from Lee Pattison who made his name as part of tech-house act Deepgroove during the ‘00s.

There’s a remix of Ment by Ross From Friends, an artist we nominated for the Best Breakthrough Producer at last year’s Best of British Awards. Danvers is in there too, a Bristol-based newbie who’s really beginning to make waves with the WotNot crew, and Denis Sulta — winner of said Breakthrough Producer Award — makes an appearance too with his latest track on Numbers, ’Nein Fortaite’.

Elsewhere I’ve tried to explore some of the sounds we’ve been feeling over the past few months at DJ Mag HQ without losing thread of the mix — so Mr G, Peggy Gou, Mr. Tophat, Adesse Versions, Romare and Fort Romeau all feature at various points — so there’s house, techno, disco and some bass in there too.

Enjoyed mixing it, so hope you enjoy it too!
