Event Review: Maceo Plex, Mosaic at Pacha Ibiza

The season has only just started but Ibiza is already heating up..

Pacha‘s legend in Ibiza should not go unnoticed, even in these the early season stages the clubs grandeur and presence was enough in itself to draw in a large and colourful crowd. On entering the club the Balearic tone is immediately set with a terracotta terrace and friendly security.

However…

On entering the main room it was clear that this was not to be an entirely Spanish occasion. Plex, who is American but no resides in Barcelona, has clearly taken influence from his European counterparts as there was a distinct Berlin atmosphere emanating from both the music and the design. Gothic space brides dominated the podiums mirroring the techno laden set that Plex spun out.

In true Pacha style the volume was very quickly turned up and an array of lights, confetti cannons and yet more dancers entertained the congested dance floor. We highly recommend checking out Mosaic for yourself if you get the chance this summer, it runs every Tuesday through the Ibiza season.
