DB Limits at UK Festivals make Four Tet sad..
One of the most consistent complaints at UK festivals, especially the inner-city events is that the music is not loud enough or does not sound good enough. It’s an issue that London and inner-city festival promoters have faced more and more in the past few years as more and more restrictions are out in place due to residents complaining and local council restrictions.
While festival-goers are often heard or seen online complaining about these problems, artists rarely get involved (most likely because they do not want to upset the people who pay their wages) but Four Tet has discussed his feelings about the problems publicly on Twitter, check out some of the tweets below:

I want people to have a proper sonic experience. Hear and feel the music to its true potential.

I want dynamics and clarity… The db limits are stopping that.

Like if I play a tune with a sick drop but then it doesn’t go off like it could because the drop is too quiet I feel sad
