George Maple comes from Australia but she is now based in London. Having collaborated with the likes of Flume and Flight Facilities and currently working on new music with Bondax you would think Maple would be more of a household name. Having decided to embark on some solo work., Uphill is the first step towards making it on her own and it’s a confident one. This track is as simple as it is lovely, her soulful voice works well with the mellowness of the background beat. The track was released on Justus Records just under a month ago and is available for free download.
