Black Butter Records are a label we have been supporting for a long while now. Perhaps best known for their recent success with Rudimental, the label have been putting in the work for the past couple of years now. The label look after a extremely talented of roster of producers & aritsts including a handful artists who have featured in our weekly chart such as Gorgon City, Hostage, RackNRuin, Rudimental and Woz.
Tonight at the AIM Awards which honors independent bands, artists, festivals, labels and industry figures Black Butter were announced as the winner of the ‘Best Small Label Award’.
We really feel that this is well deserved and would like to congratulate Black Butter on their successes this year. It’s great to see a bass / electronic music get the shine and we hope and expect Black Butter will continue to progress, release great music and achive even bigger and better things.
