5 Reasons We Can’t Wait For Brighton Music Conference 2017

The UK’s foremost electronic music conference is just around the corner. Here are five things to look forward to at Brighton Music Conference.

Brighton Music Conference 2017 is just around the corner now! On Thursday 27th & Friday 28th April 2017 the music industry will descend upon Brighton Dome for the fourth annual BMC event.

We have been visiting The Brighton Music Conference since the very beginning and it’s always a great weekend. Here are just five of the reasons that we can’t wait to get back to the south coast.

Seeing friends and making new ones.

BMC is one of the rare occasions where we get to see several of our music industry friends, clients and partners in the same place at the same time. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and build connections in the music industry. Don’t forget your business cards!

Geeking out!

If you make music or have an interest in music tech, you will love checking out all the latest innovations and technology on display in the Brighton Dome at BMC. Expect to see displays of the latest sound and light equipment and get the chance to try out the latest electronic music products for yourself! This is a great chance to get your geek on and be surrounded by like-minded music nerds.

Learning from industry panels.

BMC have managed to confirm speakers from some of the world’s biggest, best and most interesting music companies. The industry panels will cover a wide range of music topics covering everything the changing roles of streaming services vs the radio to sync licensing and personal branding.

This is an opportunity to learn from and ask questions to some of the best minds in the music industry.

The Parties.

No electronic music event is complete without a party (or several). This years night-time program is by far the biggest in BMC history. Highlights include:

    • Networking events put on by PRS for Music, Toolroom and Wunderground.

    • An art & music showcase organised by Just Her’s label Constant Circles.

    • HUGE club events featuring Patrick Topping, Seamus Haji, Timo Garcia, Magnus Asberg and many more.

  • BRAPP will throwing a huge HopHop event featuring Levelz on the Friday night.
