Introduce yourself and tell us about the part of the UK you’re from?
I’m Hannah Wants and I’m from near the city of Birmingham
What have you been working on recently?
I’ve been in the studio working on lots of new material over the past few months and I’ve been road testing it during my current UK & Ireland tour. It’s making me very excited for the year ahead.
Tell us about the mix, how did you put it together, what did you want to represent?
I had a lot of fun putting this together, it seemed to just flow real nice. I wanted it to showcase some of my current favourite tracks as well as my sound/vibe at this exact point in my career. I was listening to some of my older mixes from 4/5 years ago the other day and it’s mad to hear what kind of journey you go on as an artist. Oh yeah, the mix also includes one of my new productions called Mind Games.
Talk us through the British music featured in this mix? Which British artists are you most excited about?
This mix features a few UK artists. The first track ‘No Return’ was produced by a guy called Hugo Massien and it’s probably my favourite track at the moment! Drunky from Harry Judda also bangs.
What is on the cards in the immediate future?
I’m currently half way through my UK & Ireland tour called PLAY. Straight after that I head to Snowboxx in France and then it’s straight over to North America for my longest tour there yet aaaaaand then it’s back to the UK and we’re pretty much rolling straight into the summer madness!
Where is the best place in the world you have DJ’d and why?
This question is literally impossible to answer. I’ve absolutely loved so many clubs and events around the world and for so many different reasons. One event that’s pretty unique though would have to be the Holy Ship… A four day rave on a cruise ship that sails from Florida to The Bahamas and back. Check it out!
