First names announced for ABODE’s debut festival
ABODE just get bigger and bigger don’t they? Their humble beginnings now consigned to history. For now they have the reputation their events and their music deserves – residents Ellie Cox and Jimmy Switch have taken their distinctly British sound and made it a European force in the dance music world.
The parties at 338 became huge “must attend” events with sell outs in seconds. Tickets sales for their News Year Eve and News Years day events were gold dust, the proverbial golden ticket. Then the invasion of Sankeys in Ibiza was the obvious next step – taking the coveted Sunday session from Lawler’s Tribal Sessions.
Now, with the full weight of a loyal fan base behind them, Abode will launch their own festival – Abode In The Park. Taking over London’s gargantuan Finsbury Park with their own residents and also support from Do Not Sleep’s Darius Syrossian alongside Detlef and Secondcity.
Abode’s reputation as premier hosts promises to put this day festival as a must attend – coupled with the fact they are due to be hosting in the late September sunshine. Tickets and further details are available here.
