Once your gate is active, all incoming music is routed to your private Soundplate curator dashboard. The process to review these tracks is straightforward:
- Listen to a track in your queue.
- If you like the song: Add it to your Spotify playlist, then click ‘Approve’ in your Soundplate dashboard, and send the artist a quick message letting them know they have been placed. This also encourages the artists to share and grow your playlist even more.
- If the song does not fit: Simply click ‘Remove’ and it is instantly cleared from your queue.
There is no unnecessary administrative work. Your focus remains entirely on creating and growing the best playlist possible.

Promoting the Link to Grow Your Playlist
Your playlist submissions link operates as a direct growth tool. Because of the mechanics of the Soundplate gate, every new artist who submits a track to your queue automatically becomes a new follower of your playlist.
To maximize this automatic follower growth, place your Soundplate submission link in all your social media bios, including Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter). When you approve a track, post about it, tag the artist, and direct your audience to the submission link. Every artist that clicks through and submits is a new follower for your playlist and another chance for you discover great music for your list.
Artists will also be able to find your playlist in the playlist search bar and across the Soundplate website.
