Two Electronic Music Museums Are Coming to Germany

Plans are in motion to open two electronic music museums in Germany.

Berlin and Frankfurt will become home to two of the first museums dedicated to electronic music.

The Berlin project is being planned by Tresor‘s founder, Dimitri Hegermann who is currently in the fund raising process. We don’t have many details on this one yet but we do it’s planned to open in Autumn 2016 around the same time as Tresor’s 25th anniversary and will be called “The Living Archive of Electronica”.

There are more details on the Frankfurt museum which will be called MOMEM (Meseum of Modern Electronic Music). Watch the video by Electronic Beats below to find out more..

You can also check out the MOMEM website for more information and to stay up to date with the project as it develops.
