UK born Avro Arvo is a Melbourne based artist who is inspired by the coastline and beaches of Australia, creating chilled soundscapes with delicate guitar licks and funky basslines providing a bed for his sun-soaked vocals.
With 2 self-released singles under his belt in 2020, Soundplate Records are excited to partner with Avro Arvo for his 3rd single release ‘Past Life’. As the title might imply, the song is a nostalgic nod to a ‘Past Life’ in which Avro retrospectively appreciates good times gone by, whilst acknowledging a new lease of life which can also be as exciting, but in different ways.
With a Foals inspired guitar riff, Avro reached out to award-winning Brett Shaw (Foals, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronso) who was keen to get involved and mixed the track from his London studio.
