Mobilee Records founder and talent hunter Anja Schneider is back after a hiatus in which she claims to have been ‘hiding in the studio’ to present to us her impeccable ‘Diagonal EP’. Each track boasts its own esoteric charm, showcasing a sound that has been pioneered by the likes of Heidi; yet ‘No Answers’ stood out as the ‘go-to’ track of this release. The crunchy arpeggiated synth lines are reminiscent of Todd Terje and Weatherall at their finest, and it appears Anja’s ever industrious approach to producing has paid off here.
