Sometimes you stumble across things, and think to yourself, am I the first person to *discover* this? Well, I may not be the first person to have ‘stumbled across’ Manchunian Chloe Marie’s track ’23’, but it appears I am one of them. With just a handful of plays, it is astounding how many ‘hidden gems’ that are lurking underneath the surface of the UK electronic scene. Chloe Marie’s music is a blend of intricate vocal phrases amongst a wide ambient horizon of ticks and Disclosure-esque synth-stabs. At only 17 years of age, the production of this track suggests we may have unearthed one of the stars of the future. Take a listen – you will be amazed!
