Canadian producer Poupon has been quietly carving out his musical niche and is sure to be a big name in tech house production soon. His recent hit release with Prince Club on Snatch! Records helped to increase his profile and he’s back with his take on Dave Mayer’s track with the mighty Roland Clark. ‘Funky Like That’ certainly does what it says on the tin with its bouncing beat, forceful bass line and funky like that vocals. The track will be released as part of Wax Motif & Neoteric Present Strictly Rhythms Vol. 9 and is released 14th October.
