“So they say you should never meet your Idols… Screw that! If you’d have told me ten years ago that I would have some Todd Terry drums to collaborate with, I would have thought you were mental. If there’s one instrument or sound that’s influenced me more than anything else, then it’s those raw, uncompromising drum sounds of his. You can’t beat those brave, distorted, chunky grooves. Todd Terry is easily one of my biggest musical influences and now a good mate. I can’t think of a more perfect way to kick off this new collaboration EP series on Toolroom.
