Released on Symbols Recordings just under a month ago, The Grove is the debut EP from Druid Cloak. Despite the name being suggestive of dark and sinister sounds, Druid Cloak has a certain warmth in this EP. Heart of the Wild has a fast paced and somewhat erratic feel to it, whereas Living Seed makes use of intertwining drum beats to create a bass-line that carries the ghostly vocals along with a heavy bit of percussion. The EP is full of interesting sounds being weaved together to create something captivating. You will probably find that you can’t stop listening to this album for a while.
