2013 has been a big year for Chesus, aka Earl Jeffers, perhaps most notably for his track Special, which has been a mainstay in the sets of many a big name DJ, including an airing during Skream’s now infamous SXSW Boiler Room set, and now he’s back with something new and equally as catchy. This offering is a vinyl only press on Catapult Records, it was released today, get it here. The release brings two self-proclaimed “slabs of Disco/JazzFunk inspired House Music”, and we couldn’t agree more. Chunky basslines, catchy hooks and cheeky feelgood vibes, we dare you to try and not tap your feet along to this one.
