For those of you who missed him, The Golden Boy turned a few heads in 2012 when his rework of Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo-Wop’ amassed over 100,000 Youtube plays, thanks to support from Eton Messy’s ‘Beauty and The Beats’ channel. His 2013 return sees him team up with Ministry of Sound resident Igor Project, who seems to have brought out an edgier, ‘club-ready’ dynamic of The Golden Boy’s embodiment. There is a nostalgic sense of late 90s Ibiza surrounding this track, and although potentially lacking the same accessibility and contemporary feel as his 2012 rework, this track will certainly set up The Golden Boy up for an exciting year.
There are no release details for ‘No Emotion’ at this time.
