Released on 12th May on Infinite Machine – the renowned Liar graces us with his latest EP ‘Cybertime’.
In a bid to re-imagine the definition of Cyberspace as coined by William Gibson, into that of a musical conception, Liar chooses a myriad of digital sounds, blending harsh electronic swipes with tribal like drumming, dirty bass and head banging beats.
The title track – is the one you’d be getting down and dirty to (if that’s what you fancy). It’s got a grime infused sound that makes you want to just get up and move. By contrast – the opening track ‘Erumpo Ortus’ is like a contemporary soundtrack to Lord Of The Rings, by which I mean it’s EPIC!
Stemming from an array of influences including Nosaj Thing, Baths and Nosia – you’re not going to want to miss this.
