My Nu Leng made considerable waves in the underground arena with their 2012 hit ‘The Grid’: a track which encapsulated the broad variety of stylistic variation that has made dance music one of the most pioneering genres in recent years. ‘War Specialist’ is a similarly robust and aggressive affair, drawing influence from a wide spectrum of soundscapes. The Dub-Tech sounds are likely to be tried and tested by many a DJ over the coming months, so expect My Nu Leng to strengthen their position as one of the exciting prospects of 2013.
‘War Specialist’ is set for release on 877 Records, although there is no confirmed date as of yet.
