Maya Jane Coles is never one to shy away from high profile remixes, having already taken on the likes of Maceo Plex, Toddy Terry, Florence & The Machine and Little Dragon. On this occasion she has delicately re-worked the already infallible ‘Fiction’ from the The XX’s latest album ‘Coexist’, and funnily enough, the sonic characteristics of the track are actually reminiscent of Jamie XX. Although not necessarily armed with the ‘club-ready’ guile of some of her recent exploits, this is certainly one for the chilled summer sunsets at festivals across the globe.
