Experimental Dortmund-based producer Tinush has made a name for himself by giving away an abundance of his tracks as free downloads in the past year: a dexterously crafted collection of classical, house, tech house, jazz, acoustic and hip hop mash-ups. The industrious German refuses to be pinned down or defined by genre, claiming his musical interest stems from an undying love affair with the piano from the age of 4. His new track ‘Zylinder’ is an immediate and gripping affair, building intelligently from an almost ‘woodwind’ sounding piano melody into a funky house groove with an elegantly interspersed vocal line.
