Slime Recordings reaches its 100th release with the launch of the third installment in the imprint’s annual retrospective, Basswave. Throughout the year, the label has been expanding its ambitions, with the launch of three albums, an official movie soundtrack and its first ever vinyl release all included in a vast schedule that saw the release of nearly fifty singles in one year.
Basswave 3 represents the breadth of the label’s ambition with 46 tracks spanning garage, house, dubstep, techno, ambient, autonomic, electronica, breakbeat and much more besides. This huge compilation takes you around the globe with artists featured from across Europe, America, Russia, Australasia and the Far East. The unifying aesthetic of the label and it’s artists still holds throughout, however : music designed to move minds.
