We Concur is a bold addition to the ever competitive London clubbing scene. Launching in March 2014, we aim to provide a truly unique clubbing experience with carefully curated lineups. Accompanied by bespoke lighting, visuals and artwork, we look to explore the darker, emotive side of experimental House and Techno.

Our ethos revolves around artists that are consistently seen to push the boundaries of electronic music, both in the studio and in the booth, whether they’re established or emerging.

For our launch night, our headliner needs no introduction, the one and only Mano Le Tough. The Berlin-based Irishman has seen a meteoric rise to the top, with 2013 seeing the release of his much acclaimed debut album ‘Changing Days’. His impact has been so great that Kristian Beyer of Âme claimed recently in an interview that: “Thanks to Mano Le Tough, I have no fears for the future of House”. He describes his music as having “an emotional resonance without being overly sentimental or schmalzy”…we can’t wait to see the man in action for a rare London performance.

Next up is an artist who has evolved his sound over the past 3 years, with his 2013 album ‘B.O.A.T.S’ demonstrating a dark and dubby techno dreamscape in all it’s glory. It is of course, Clockwork. His recent sets blend booming, moody bass with dark, stripped-down rhythms, focussing predominately on techno. With a recent announcement that he spent the last 3 months in the studio creating new material with fellow producer Avatism, has only made us more excited for what we will hear on the night.

Thirdly we have synonymous label Life and Death’s most exciting new duo, Mind Against. 2013 saw the Berlin-based producers establish themselves as the hottest act to emerge out of House and Techno. With releases such as ‘Atlant’ and ‘Ceremonial’ demonstrating their ability to blend melodic, dark house, with tough percussion and an interesting futuristic techno vibe. We feel 2014 will be an even bigger year for these guys and can’t wait to see them in action.

Finally completing the lineup is Trouw resident and Life and Death label manager, Job Jobse. This young Dutch DJ is highly rated by some of the biggest names in the scene, including Tale Of Us and the Innervisions camp. Regularly showcasing his diverse musical knowledge, we can certainly see why he’s resident at one of the world’s most respected clubs, as well as managing label of the moment, Life and Death, at such an early age.
