Description:

Electric Brixton proudly welcome German innovators Booka Shade to perform their first London club show in over 18 months. This show will feature their full live show, whilst support comes in the form of a rare UK performance from fellow German Boris Brejcha, London’s underground heroes Krankbrother and Entail Records family.

From launching groundbreaking imprint Get Physical in 2002 (alongside M.A.N.D.Y & DJ T) Booka Shade have carved a niche for themselves as highly in-demand producers and an exceptional live act. Having released five studio albums;’ Memento’ (2004), ‘Movement’ (2006) ‘The Sun & The Neon Lights’ (2008), ‘More!’ (2010) and finally ‘Eve’ (2013|) which saw a deluge of bona-fide club bangers such as ‘Mandarine Girl’, ‘In White Rooms’, ‘Body Language’ and many more. The duo have remixed remix the likes of Depeche Mode, Moby, Yello, Hot Chip, Kings of Leon, Tiga, The Knife whilst endlessly touring the globe headlining the biggest and best club nights and festivals across the planet.

Second on the bill we are pleased to host a very rare UK performance from one of Germany’s hottest techno artists Boris Brejcha. Having began producing in the mid naughties Boris was quickly snapped up by leading imprint Harthouse. Six albums later and a plethora of slick underground singles he has defined his own ‘high-tech minimal’ sound which sees him headline festivals across the globe.

Next up London underground house and techno heroes Kranbkbrother AKA brothers Danny & Kieran who since 2009 have turned the capital’s party scene it on its head with parties featuring world-famous acts like Magda, Josh Wink, Four-Tet and beyond. Finalising the line up is London-based techno imprint Entail Records who regularly pack out underground club venues and have drawn support from the likes of tiNI, Loco Dice, Pan-Pot and Pig&Dan

For fans of Booka Shade or anyone with a slight passing fancy for serious underground house and techno this event is not to be missed. Tickets will fly out the door so advance purchase is strongly recommended.
