Introduce yourself and tell us about the part of the UK you’re from?

I am Flux Pavilion aka Hieronymus Josh and I’m from a lovely little town called Towcester near Northampton.

Can you tell us a bit about what you’ve been working on recently?

I have been working on a full flex Flux album among many other things. Keep your ears peeled.

And can you talk us through the mix?

I always want to represent the sound of music that gets me excited in my mixes and when I play live. Rather than concentrate on genre specific ideas just play it by how it feels.

Nice, give us a taste of some of the British artists you’ve featured in your mix?

My label Circus is represented pretty heavily in this mix, mainly because what we sign is what we are excited about. There are some new guys called Outrun that are about to grace the world with their presence that I would definitely keep my eye on if I was someone who loved groovy electronic music.

Cool, tell us about some of your British DJ Heroes and influences in general?

In terms of people that embody the archetypal DJ role I would say Mistajam is a pretty big inspiration. He has always taught me to keep finger on the pulse and helped me to discover brand new sounds. A DJ should play music you have never heard but present it in a way that makes you love it, which as a radio DJ he does very well.

And what’s on the cards in the immediate future?

I’m currently sitting on a very large amount of brand new music and I’m trying to work out the best way to present it. I feel I have been in a pretty awesome creative space recently.

And finally, where is the best place in the world you have DJ’d and why?

The world itself is a pretty good place to be.
