Introduce yourself and tell us about the part of the UK you’re from?

Hello, I’m Ramu from Bristol.

Can you tell us a bit about what you’ve been working on recently?

Some bits and bobs that might see the light of day on a longer EP on Honey Glazed next year.

And can you talk us through the mix?

I didn’t really think too much about putting it together, its just a one take wonder of some dance music that I love at the moment. A lot of spacey and sampley stuff.

Nice, talk us through the British music featured in this mix? Which British artists are you most excited about?

The first 15 mins, feature Wagon Christ (Luke Vibert), Velour (Hyetal and Julio Bashmore) Space Dimension Controller and Lone. So very synthy / spaced driven dance music.

Cool, tell us about some of your British musical Heroes and influences in general?

I’ve been a big Numbers fan (the Glaswegian label) for a while and their nights are always corking. So I guess Spencer and Jackmaster are right up there.

Great and what’s on the cards in the immediate future?

Tacos

And finally, where is the best place in the world you have performed and why?

There was a night running in Bristol last year called ‘Gaz Loz Presents’. It was pretty crazy. Think, big oafs in tiny frocks and dancing midgets. If it returns…don’t miss it.
