Introduce yourself and tell us about the part of the UK you’re from?

Originally hail from Mid Wales and now living in Shropshire – quite a world away from clubland!

Can you tell us a bit about what you’ve been working on recently?

I’ve been working on a lot of music over the last few months. New material like “Fools At Play” (a collab with Spanish producer Jorge Montia) which is coming out on my Whartone Records label, along with lots of remixes for the likes of Mason, Robbie Rivera, NVOY ft. Youngman, TrAmHed ft. Wrenn and Tinush & Wolfgang Lohr. I’m also working on a bunch of new original material with a couple of vocal tracks too.

Sounds great, cant wait to hear the new stuff! Can you talk us through the mix?

I tried to incorporate where I’m at as a DJ & producer and to include some tracks that might not normally make it into my DJ sets. It starts more laid back and then picks up momentum pretty quickly with a few curveballs here n there.

And can you give us a taste of some of the British artists you’ve featured in your mix?

There’s loads of exciting British artists in this mix and people I’m really stoked to see rising through the ranks out there – people like Seven Hills, Tom Flynn, Hot Since 82,  Harvey McKay and Taylor are all guys rocking it in clubland. I wanted to include as many of them as possible in this alongside some of my own new cuts like “Fools At Play” and a new remix of Tinush & Wolfgang Lohr that I’ve just finished for London based Soundplate Records.

Some really strong names in there! Can you tell us about some of your British DJ Heroes and influences in general?

The ultimate British DJ hero for me is Carl Cox – he was the first DJ I ever saq play and the one that inspired me to explore dance music in the first place. Still to this day he rocks every club in his own unique way and always someone I enjoy going to see perform!

And what’s on the cards in the immediate future?

DJwise over the next few weeks ill be playing at both The Wickerman and Nozstock Festivals here in the UK as well as continuing my international residencies in Stockholm and Seoul.  Release wise I’ve got new music forthcoming on Z Records, Soundplate, New State, Juicy, Armada and my own label Whartone Records.

Very exciting indeed! And finally, where is the best place in the world you have DJ’d and why?

Its tricky to answer as there’s so many great places I like playing at. One of my standout favourites is still my first ever-set on Amnesia Terrace for Renaissance in Ibiza… That gig set everything in motion for me and one ill never forget!
