The ‘Long List’ of nominees for the BBC’s Sound of 2014 Award have been announced. The yearly prize aims to predict who the stars of next year. The list is selected by music tastemakers including radio DJs and producers, TV presenters and producers, newspaper critics, magazine and website editors and bloggers.
Past winners have including 50 Cent, Adele, Ellie Goulding and HAIM. This years list (which can be seen in full below) includes a few artists we have heavily supported on the site; Banks, Sam Smith, MNEK and Sampha all made the cut.
