Beats Music has for the first time overtaken rivals Spotify & Pandora to top the msuic charts in the iTunes app store. This comes just days after an update which allows an in-app subscription purchases, the update also introduces further integration of TopSpin – allowing users to discover merchandise and more from their favourite artists.
The streaming service has also done deals with phone networks including AT&T to distribute free 30-day and 90-day trials to the carrier’s customers and has allowed listeners to directly subscribe to Beats via the iOS app after their free 7-day trial has ended.
The streaming war continues to rage and it looks like Beats Music is becoming a serious contender..
