Event Previews : South West More – Official SW4 After Parties

South of the river continues to shine after dark…

South West Four has established itself as London’s premier electronic music event, held on August Bank Holiday weekend it seems this year promises to be its biggest and most diverse yet with artists ranging from Sven Vath to Chemical Brothers taking the stage.

Unsurprisingly, South West More (the festival official after party) has once again announced a raft of impressive artists that will continue the fiesta into the early hours of carnival weekend.

On Saturday (August 27th) Electric Brixton plays host to an exclusive three hour set from no other than Eric Prydz, the legend will surely draw in a massive crowd and with the news today that fresh music may be coming from Cirez-D, this event seems unmissable. Supporting Prydz is the impressive Alan Fitzpatrick whose big-room techno sounds are surely to sound grandiose within Brixton’s theatrical settings.

On Sunday (28th August) John Digweed (half of the infamous Sasha and Digweed) headlines the famous venue, sure to bringing progressive house sounds and a era spanning set – Sunday’s after party is set to be as equally as explosive. With support offered from Cocoon recordings Ilario Alicante and Denise and Pika whose club infused techno will be a big draw for those who want to carry the weekend on into Monday morning.
