Fatboy Slim & Idris hook up again..
Idris Elba is the man of the moment, it seems he can do no wrong. When he is not being one of Britain’s most successful actors you can find him behind the decks or in the studio working on music.
Fresh from smashing the Sick Chirpse party at Snowbombing Festvial last weekend, Idris has let it slip that he cooking up something in the studio with the one and only Fatboy Slim!
In an interview with NME, Fatboy Slim revealed the song has been written for Elba’s upcoming film, Bastille Day.
“We’ve written a song together, and Idris sings on it which is fun,”
“I’ve seen him DJ many times, that’s how we ended up knowing each other. We share the same management so we’re often on the bill together, and that’s how we became pals.”
This will be the second time the pair have worked together following their dub mix of the Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars hit, ‘Uptown Funk’.
