For those who have not heard of us, we are a brand dedicated to showcasing the best in Bass House, Bassline and UKG, providing a stepping stone for emerging young talent, posting new tracks and mixes up through our Soundcloud and YouTube channels, all of which is exclusive content and free to download. We also do the odd night here and there.

How long have you been putting on events?
Under the guise of 3000 Bass? About 2 years.

Most people will know your brand from the Soundcloud channel, what has been your biggest success on the platform?
In terms of plays? That would be the Skepsis remix of Rhythm & Gash by Rebound X which is up to about 150k plays now. We’ve also amassed over 50,000 followers on our Soundcloud channels in only 10 months.

What influence does Soundcloud have on the success of your brand?
It is very important to our brand as it is where we post up any content first and is by far our biggest channel and has the best interaction with our followers.

As a brand at the forefron of UK Bass, give us five producers to look out for this year..
Holy Goof, Brent Kilner, Murder He Wrote, Curifex, Mikey B.

What does the future hold for the 3000 brand?
Record label, artist agency, more events, world domination!

We have seen 3000 DJ’s starting appear on some event flyers, tell us about that..
3000 DJ’s is a collective of our 3000 residents who play together B2B and host small rooms and tents at festivals and club nights.

If you could sign anyone to the label dead or alive who would it be and why?
Zinc would be a good one because of his consistency and longevity in the music industry. I’ve been a massive fan ever since ‘Super Sharp Shooter’ and he has managed to repeatedly switch genres, adapt and still be successful which is very uncommon. He is also a major player in the way Bass House sounds today in my opinion, paving the way with his ‘Crack House’ sound.
