James Blake’s Overgrown Wins Mercury Prize 2013

BRITAIN-ENTERTAINMENT-MUSIC-MERCURY-PRIZEJames Blake has beaten Disclosure, Rudimental,  David Bowie and bookies favourite Laura Mvula to win the Mercury Prize 2013, This was the second time Blake, 25, had been nominated for the award, he was previously nominated for his debut, self titled album.

‘Overgrown’ was one of our favourite albums of the year  so we are really pleased to see it get this recognition. James will receive a £20k cash prize and is sure to see a huge boost in sales this week.
