The iconic Ministry of Sound (MOS) have announced a mammoth event at London’s Trent Park on Sunday 7th August.

MOS look to unite and promote an evening of nostalgia by gathering together some of the most legendary names in dance music. This is most evident with the announcement of “A Night in Paradise” – honouring the influential Paradise Garage and Shoom. The New York crew had pivotal roles in catapulting the careers of iconic figures such as Frankie Knuckles while Shoom bought the free spirited sounds of Ibiza promoting the acid house movement.

The music, as always, will be the sole focus of the event and MOS have landed a coup in securing the services of the Haçienda Classical who, after a number of triumphant shows across the nation, will play their only festival set at M25. Haçienda bring together over 40 classically trained musicians in order give the vintage dance music tracks a triumphant resurrection.

Eric Morillo and DJ Sneak have also been added to the line up to further promote the nostalgic ambience that MOS are clearly trying to achieve. This has been only further fortified with the event being held on a Sunday, within the ring of the M25 a subtle nod towards 90’s rave culture that won’t go unnoticed by the electronic community.
