After rumours it had been axed we had hoped the we had heard the last of Simon Cowell’s plans to step into the Dance Music world with an X-Factor style competition for DJ’s.
It has now been announced that the show titled “Ultimate DJ” will launch online via Yahoo’s new platform Yahoo Screen which has been buying in lots of music content including a huge deal for live concerts promoted by Live Nation.
The show which is backed by SFX Entertainment will ‘pit electronic dance music DJs against each other’ where they will compete to be voted the best one. Full details are expected soon, we think this is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better…
