A new music streaming service has gone live with over 4 million songs but not one artist wants to be on it…
Forgotify lets users listen to all the songs that have never been played on popular music streaming service, Spotify. Their tag line is: ” 4 million songs on Spotify have never been played. Not even once. Let’s change that”.
A message from the Forgotify team states:
“We were so shocked to learn that 20% (or over 4 million songs) had never been played on Spotify. Not even once. A musical travesty, really.
“So we set out to give these neglected songs another way to reach your ear holes, and Forgotify was born.”
Users hear only one track at a time and get the choice to either share it on social media or move on to listen to the next one. There is no way to go back to songs previously listened to.
