More details have emerged online today of what Youtube might have in store for us with their premium music service. A technology website, AndroidPolice.com found the new clues by reading the code behind the latest Youtube update.
It is suggested the service will be called ‘Music Pass’ and will offer uninterrupted, ad-free music on millions of songs that users can play offline and when they are using other apps on their mobile device.
The official announcement is expected any day now and the service is likely to become a new rival to Spotify making use of the Google All Access catalogue and all the music uploads and video content on the current Youtube service.
