Nominations for this years DJ Mag ‘Best of British Awards’ have been announced..
DJ Mag’s ‘Best of British’ nominations are out for the year and it goes without saying that some of the finest UK talent has made the cut for 2015. Culminating in an absolutely monstrous awards ceremony at Heaven on 16th December, which will see performances from some of electronic music’s biggest names, the ‘Best of British’ awards will celebrate what makes our scene arguably one of the best in the world.
London legends Leftfield will be playing a DJ set, alongside Phonox resident Jasper James, Blasé Boy’s Club stalwart Kiwi, Defected’s Sam Divine, D’n’B heroes Fabio & Grooverider, Ibiza mainstays, Eli & Fur, as well as ViVA Warriors head honcho, Steve Lawler, to name just a few. Tickets are open to the public, you’ll need to register for those here.
Categories for this year’s award ceremony include Best DJ, Best Small Club, Best Large Club, Best Radio Show, Best Remix, Best Tune, Breakthrough DJ and Breakthrough Producer. Taken perhaps a little more seriously than other ‘awards’ ceremonies within the British underground community, expect to see your favourite artists up for nomination in this list, with deserved winners made on the night!
